We are thrilled to share the success of the Empowerment Workshop that took place in the beautiful Matelot community on November 4, 2023, from 10 AM to 3 PM. This event was made possible through a partnership between the UN Spotlight Initiative, the Network of Rural Women Producers Trinidad and Tobago, the Matelot Police Youth Club, and the Sangre Grande Rotary Club.
The workshop, titled “Women and Girls Empowered,” aimed to equip women with tools to uplift themselves and others within the community.
The event was a true celebration of empowerment and education, featuring a dynamic lineup of facilitators who delved into core topics essential for the advancement of women. This workshop provided a valuable platform for participants to gain knowledge, inspiration, and support, fostering an environment of empowerment and growth.
